William T. Morgan, MD
Chief Executive Officer

Dr Morgan joined Copiah County Medical Center in June of 2021. He brings over 35 years of experience as a practicing physician and healthcare executive. He obtained his medical degree at the University of MS Medical Center and completed his Internal Medicine training at the Baptist Hospital Health System in Memphis, TN. Through firsthand experience in many different roles, he has gained a great understanding of how best to integrate clinical and business operations. Over the last 16 years working exclusively as a physician executive, he has become keenly aware of the complexity of change facing us in this time of healthcare transformation and the need to evolve in order to survive and thrive.

Dr. Morgan has served in Senior Leadership roles in large healthcare systems in North Carolina and Florida. Most recently prior to coming to CCMC, he served as the Chief Clinical Officer at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. He and his wife reside in Ridgeland, MS where they have lived for the last 3 years and have 4 adult children with successful careers.

Teresa Harvey, RN, BSN
Chief Nursing Officer

Teresa Harvey joined the staff of Copiah County Medical Center as Quality Director in October 2016. She served as the hospital's Interim Chief Nursing Officer from June 2017 to April 2018 when she was named Chief Nursing Officer. Teresa - who has a nursing degree from Southwest Community College and a bachelor's degree in nursing from South University - has over 30 years of experience in the nursing profession and has dedicated her career to providing quality healthcare to the patients she serves. While Teresa's primary clinical background is in medical-surgical nursing, she has extensive professional experience in the following healthcare areas: Quality, Risk Management, Healthcare Compliance and Health Education.

Kortney Gaddy, C.P.A.
Chief Financial Officer

Copiah County Medical Center has named Kortney Gaddy, C.P.A. of Crystal Springs as Chief Financial Officer where she will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations.
Gaddy has been employed with CCMC since 2019 as the Accounting Manager and is a 2015 Graduate of Mississippi College where she received her Bachelors and Masters in Accounting. Kortney is a member of HFMA Healthcare Financial Management Association and The Mississippi Society of CPA's.

Julie Mattingly
Julie Mattingly
Director of Human Resources

Julie joined the staff of Copiah County Medical Center in 2005 as the Human Resource Director. She is responsible for overseeing all Human Resource and Organizational Development functions of the hospital and has in-depth knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, Employee Benefits, Workers’ Compensation and EEO laws and regulations. She is a member of the Mississippi Hospital Association Society of Human Resource Administration and the Society of Human Resource Management.
